Components are the building blocks of Aqtra Platform applications.

There are two Component types, named Component and Multi-Component

Standard (single) component

Each single component consists of the following:

• A core object model which describes all data that is contained within the component
• A UI model for the component, that consists of multiple Pages, Forms and visual controls, as well as specific visual customization options for them
• An automation model for the component, that consists of one or more Dataflow and/or Workflow
• Customization scripts using Python that further adjust component’s behavior
• Security settings specific for the component
• Aqtra Workplace settings that define how component is presented to the users

Multi-component

Multi-component is a special type of Component that combines multiple single Components together to provide a single unified application. Multi-components are typically used in building complex autonomous single-UI applications such as mobile clients.

Building a new Component

To build a new component, open Aqtra Studio using https://<you-hosting-name>/studio url, navigate to Applications/Components section, and press Add button as shown below.
